By visiting austindecksandfences.com, contacting us, requesting an estimate, or entering into a service agreement with Advanced Austin Decks & Fences ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all website visitors, estimate recipients, and customers.
Advanced Austin Decks & Fences provides residential and commercial outdoor construction services in Austin, MN and surrounding communities. Our services include, but are not limited to:
All services are subject to a signed written agreement between Advanced Austin Decks & Fences and the customer. Verbal agreements, text messages, and email exchanges do not constitute a binding service contract unless confirmed in a signed written proposal.
Estimates provided by Advanced Austin Decks & Fences are based on information available at the time of the on-site visit. Estimates are not binding contracts. A formal written proposal, signed by both parties, establishes the agreed scope of work and pricing.
Changes in scope, material costs, or unforeseen site conditions may result in a change order. Change orders will be presented in writing and must be signed by the customer before additional work begins. We will not proceed with scope changes without written customer approval.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise noted. Material prices and availability are subject to change due to market conditions outside our control.
Project start dates are estimates based on current workload and material availability at the time of contract signing. We will communicate with you in advance of the scheduled start date and keep you informed of any changes.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered may result in restocking fees or material costs that cannot be recovered. Specific cancellation terms will be detailed in your project agreement.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to severe weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will notify you promptly if a rescheduling is necessary.
Payment terms are specified in each project's written agreement. Standard terms typically include a deposit due at contract signing, progress payments tied to project milestones, and a final payment due upon project completion. Specific payment schedules will be outlined in your signed agreement.
Invoices are due on the date specified in your agreement. Late payments may be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month on any outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by Minnesota law, whichever is less.
Advanced Austin Decks & Fences reserves the right to suspend work on a project if payment is not received by the agreed due date. We are not responsible for project delays caused by a payment hold.
To allow work to proceed smoothly, customers are responsible for:
Where required by local ordinance, Advanced Austin Decks & Fences will apply for and obtain the appropriate building permits on your behalf. Permit fees are typically passed through to the customer and will be listed in the project agreement. We coordinate required inspections and will notify you of any inspection scheduling. Work is not considered complete until all required inspections have been passed and the permit is closed.
Advanced Austin Decks & Fences warrants its workmanship against defects in installation for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion, unless a different warranty period is stated in the project agreement. This warranty covers defects directly caused by our installation work.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, weather events, customer modifications, improper maintenance, or material defects covered under a manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer warranties on materials such as composite decking and vinyl fence products are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the respective manufacturer's terms.
Except as expressly stated in the workmanship warranty above, Advanced Austin Decks & Fences makes no other warranties, express or implied, regarding the services or any products installed, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our website and any information it contains are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, Advanced Austin Decks & Fences shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that project under the applicable written agreement.

These Terms and Conditions and any project agreements entered into with Advanced Austin Decks & Fences are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising under these terms shall be brought in the appropriate court located in Mower County, Minnesota.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting a revised version to this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
